COMMUNITY CHOIR

Singing is good for you. There are studies bursting out all over the place telling us this. But, of course, we don’t need these to tell us something we already know in our bones – and all cultures have known throughout time.

We sing together to celebrate and reinforce our connections with one another, in common awe at the mysteries of the universe, in the shared joys and tragedies of human experience, in spontaneous expression of our life-force and instinctively to enhance our well-being.

The COMMUNITY CHOIR, led by the extraordinary Suzi Zumpe, will be a 200 strong choir, specially assembled to be part of A Nightingale Sang at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre 13th May. To take part, the only requirement is that you enjoy singing and are able to commit to attending three rehearsals prior to the event. The music will be taught aurally (by ear) and we promise that the process will be relaxed, supportive and most of all fun! Up to 200 nurses . This group will then take to the stage on .

Key dates and times:
